Dog walking in Stotfold
Our walks are solo by design: your dog — or up to three dogs from the same household — and nobody else's. There is no van, no group pick-up and no waiting around; we collect your dog from your own front door, walk locally, and return them home settled. The only time a dog in our care travels by vehicle is a genuine emergency.
For Stotfold's commuters the one-hour midday walk (£20) is far and away the most popular choice, breaking up a long day home alone. Shorter 30-minute walks (£13.50) suit older dogs and lunchtime leg-stretches, while quick pop-ins from £7.50 work well for puppies and garden breaks. You will get a WhatsApp update while we are out, so a photo of a happy, muddy face lands on your phone before your train is anywhere near Arlesey station. Public-holiday walks are available on request, and cancellation is refreshingly simple: walks cancel free of charge up to 8pm the evening before.
Cat sitting and home visits in Stotfold
Cats overwhelmingly prefer their own territory to a cattery, and our in-home visits are built around that. We drop in once or twice a day — 20-minute visits from £10.50 — for feeding, fresh water, litter trays, any medication, and as much play or quiet company as your cat is in the mood for. Every visit ends with a WhatsApp photo update, so you are never left wondering how they are getting on.
Because Stotfold residents are so often away for long days or long weekends, each visit doubles as a home check. We alternate lights and curtains, bring in post and parcels, and put bins out and back, so the house never looks empty — a small thing that makes a real difference on a quiet cul-de-sac.

Stotfold is spoilt for green space, and because every walk starts from your own door we get to know the routes your dog loves best. The jewel is Stotfold Watermill and its nature reserve: eight acres of riverside meadow around the working mill, with a wide grass path looping for about a mile along the River Ivel. There are benches and information boards along the way, swans and ducks on the water, and the occasional flash of a kingfisher — we keep dogs on the lead near the wildfowl. The reserve is open all year, and the mill itself welcomes visitors on summer Sundays.
Pix Brook, the little chalk stream that runs through town on its way to the Ivel, has footpaths along stretches of it, and Stotfold's section of the Etonbury Green Wheel links the town towards Arlesey and Fairfield for longer outings. Closer to home, the recreation grounds on Hitchin Road, Arlesey Road and Riverside — plus The Green itself — are ideal for shorter strolls and unhurried sniffing time.
For your own weekend rambles, Arlesey Old Moat and Glebe Meadows, a Wildlife Trust reserve in neighbouring Arlesey, rewards the walk with its L-shaped manor moat and summer wildflowers. Whichever way we head, routes are matched to your dog's age, fitness and temperament — agreed with you at the meet and greet, and adjusted as the seasons change.
